Spring/Summer 2019 Internships



Revere Health (Provo, Ut): This internship runs Spring Semester 2019 (January-April) and provides a student with an excellent real-world opportunity to strategize, create assets and contribute to marketing initiatives. Under the direction of the Marketing Director and Marketing Project Manager, and as part of the in-house marketing team, the Marketing Communications Intern will work on various projects for Revere Health as a whole and individual departments/clinics. You must be available to work 20 hours a week Monday-Friday.

Big Leap (Lehi, Ut): We’re currently looking for a paid Digital Marketing Intern to work with our team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who’s looking to get their start in online marketing. This role will be part of our 6 month paid internship program. Permanent full or part-time offers of employment available for exceptional interns upon completion of program. You must be able to work 20-30 hours a week. You will be paid $10-$12 an hour DOE.

Government Relations (Salt Lake City, Ut): The Government Relations intern will support the Salt Lake County Mayor's Office relations between federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The candidate will have an opportunity to learn skills from the different positions that are held within the Mayor's Office. A mentor will be assigned to guide and assist the intern's development and growth. You must be willing to work 220 hours during the term Monday-Friday). You will be paid $7.25 an hour.

Gardner Village (West Jordan, Ut): Gardner Village is now hiring interns for Winter 2019. This is an excellent hands-on experience to build your communications portfolio with a broad range of work for Gardner Village’s in-house agency. Experience may include organizing publicity, on-site promotions and plans for special events. Learn about advertising and community relations and explore new options for market development. Assist and help manage internet marketing: build and write e-newsletters, update web pages, learn html, SEO, web auditing, analytics and manage social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Assist with public relations efforts, develop customer surveys and market research programs. You will be paid a $1,000 stipend at the conclusion of the internship.

Fusion 360 (Salt Lake City, Ut): Fusion 360 ( is looking for our next Brand Journalism + Social Media + Digital PR Interns. These digital story-tellers will produce owned media content for agency and client websites, blogs and social sites; as well as produce earned media content for various online social and news outlets. The purpose of our internship program is to build a pool of promising, diverse college students who have developed skills and knowledge within the Fusion 360 culture and environment and who can be tapped for employment upon graduation. At the end of each semester, we HIRE from our pool of interns. -Over 50% of our team are former interns. True story. This internship is stipend.

Deseret Book (Salt Lake City, Ut): The marketing internship at Shadow Mountain is no ordinary internship. What we are offering-apart from your hourly wage-is something that will jumpstart your career: real experience. Experience and skills that will set you apart from the hundreds of other candidates competing for your first "real" job. As a paid intern, you'll participate in the planning and execution of both traditional and new media marketing campaigns. Daily tasks will primarily include designing assets (ads, bookmarks, banners, memes), book tour management, event planning, and developing marketing strategies. In addition, you'll be exposed to running social media campaigns, copywriting, and building relationships. This internship is packed with all the real-world experience you could ever ask for. You must be able to work 40 hours a week for 15 weeks. You will be paid $10 an hour.

Goldenwest Credit Union (South Ogden, Ut): The Marketing Intern will work directly with the Marketing Team to support brand initiatives by assisting with corporate communication, graphic design, and other marketing activities. Other duties will be assigned based on business need. You must be able to work Monday-Friday 4 hours a day. You must also be able to constantly lift 10 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.

Provo City School District: Currently looking for a Spring 2019 Intern. Intern will mostly be doing social media content creation with training on Wordpress, Adobe Suite, and Photography (if needed). Interview will begin the first two weeks in December and the internship will begin in January. This internship is 20 hours a week, $1000 for the semester. Nebo School District: Communications intern needed each semester. Intern will be responsible for writing press releases, managing social media, digital content production, creating pamphlets or brochures, and much more. Must be in your senior year of college, have experience with social media, be enthusiastic, innovative and optimistic. VolunteerMatch (Provo, Ut): The Borgen Project is an innovative, national campaign that works with U.S. leaders to improve their response to the global poverty crisis. The Borgen Project is hiring a Public Relations/Marketing Intern who will work remotely. This public relations intern will be involved in a variety of aspects of marketing and communications. This internship is 16-hours per week for 12 weeks. You must be available to meet the first monday of every month at 5pm PST for meetings.

Feeding Children Everywhere (Salt Lake City, Ut): This position is the face, the life, and the enthusiasm of Feeding Children Everywhere. As an event intern you have the amazing opportunity to lead Hunger Projects, both big and small, all over the United States.

This internship gives you the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of event management, relationship development, and volunteer empowerment. Duties include interacting with clients and volunteers in a professional manner, coordinating project setup and breakdown, helping manage project teams, and emceeing at projects as needed. This is a mobile position that is 100% travel based, both locally and across the U.S. You will have regular meetings with your Intern manager and event team, as well as bi-weekly meetings with the intern department. An open schedule will set you up for success with this position and an eager, independent, work ethic will help you thrive. This internship requires you to work 15 hours a week.

Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City, Ut): This unpaid internship provides a learning opportunity for a student to work with a leading disaster preparedness organization. The ICDP Intern supports the Intermountain Center for Disaster Preparedness team in their efforts to improve and enhance the Center’s mission to be a Center of Excellence for integrated community-based disaster readiness and resilience through collaborative education, training, research. You must be3 able to work within the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. The hours are flexible.



The Fund for American Studies (TFAS): Full time. Journalism and Communications Academic Internship. Members of PRSSA will have

priority consideration during the internship placement process. Our programs include guaranteed internships placements,
