Responsibilities

• Motivate fellow PRSSA leaders and general PRSSA members through enthusiastic attitude about PRSSA

• Direct overall operations of Chapter

• Preside at all membership and executive board meetings

• Attend and represent UVU at national PRSSA events including the National Assembly, Leadership Rally, and National Conference

• Delegate and oversee responsibilities of VP's, directors and committees

• Recommend and establish Chapter goals and objectives with the approval of membership, faculty and professional advisers

• Support all other PRSSA members in their positions and assist with any extra needed projects

Dream Job: Communications role that pays me to travel the world!

How I got involved in PRSSA: One of the advisors posted an announcement about a trip available through PRSSA to shadow a Government Relations PR Firm during the State Legislation! During the trip, I was blown away by how much I did not know about the world of PR and my knowledge of the field has exploded since joining PRSSA. I want other students to have the same opportunities and career-building experiences.

Advice to current/future members: Getting involved is an investment in you and your future self. Invest in you!

What I want to accomplish on the executive board:  My dream is that PRSSA and all the opportunities it offers will inspire students to invest in themselves and their futures. 

Fun Fact about me: I am a dog mom to a 3 year old doberdor and a plant mom to 38 plants.
