A National Organization

Established in 1967, PRSSA has more than 11,000 student members in 320 universities across the nation. Just like at Utah Valley University, the purpose of PRSSA Chapters throughout the nation is to enhance their member's educations, broaden their networks and launch their careers.

About Our Chapter

The UVU PRSSA Chapter was created in October 2009 and within its short time as a chapter has received local, state and national recognition.  In addition to holding monthly professional development activities, multiple UVU PRSSA student teams have received honorable mentions in the PRSSA National Bateman Case Study Competition.  UVU PRSSA has received many Golden Spike Awards, including Best of Show and Utah’s top PR industry award.  UVU PRSSA has received the National Star Chapter Award multiple times, starting in 2010, and a faculty advisor was awarded 2012 Outstanding Faculty Advisor in the Nation. The Chapter is integrated within the UVU culture and its surrounding communities through internships, service projects, events, and the prestigious Wolverine PR Firm.
