UVU PRSSA Takes Students on Their Semi-Annual Fall Excursion 

Students Visit Professionals from Adobe, Domo and Nuvi

Orem, Utah, October 19, 2016 – Utah Valley University Public Relations Student Society of America hosts students for their semi-annual fall excursion to Adobe, Domo and Nuvi on November 4, 2016. Students will have the opportunity to learn from PR professionals in some of the hottest companies and start-up’s in Utah. To apply for the excursion, you must be a paid PRSSA member, a UVU student and interested in the public relations industry. Registration opened October 19; space is limited to 27 attendees.

“We are so excited to have the opportunity to visit some of the most successful start-up’s in Utah county,” says Kaycee Colledge, VP of Fundraising, UVU PRSSA. “To get the chance of learning from some of the brightest minds in Utah, is something I know could be worth the cost of all our college tuition.”

The students will start the excursion at 9a.m. with their first stop at Domo, Inc. in American Fork, UT. Domo is an online optimization platform that brings your data and people into a real-time dashboard. Students will be visiting the company’s vice president of communications, Julie Kehoe. Kehoe oversees a small team of four that upholds the media relations, analyst relations and corporate communications at Domo. After visiting Domo, students will continue their excursion to Adobe in Lehi, UT. Adobe is a multimedia software that provides a variety of animations, desktop applications and mobile games. At Adobe, students will meet with David Olsen, senior manager of Adobe customer programs. Olsen works in digital marketing, creatives and the creative community in helping to make the world by going paperless. Following Olsen at Adobe, students will continue to their last destination in Lehi, UT, Nuvi. Nuvi is a real-time analytics platform for social media. At Nuvi, students will get the opportunity to meet with Stuart Dean, executive vice president of business development. Dean manages a team of sales professionals, overseeing the operations and development of the company.
